ED To Grill Nidhhi Agerwal Today

Bengaluru-based heroine Nidhhi Agerwal, who has acted in various Telugu movies including the likes of Ismart Shankar and Hari Hara Veera Mallu, was questioned last year by the CID in connection with the online betting apps case. And it looks like she won’t get out of this any soon, as the Enforcement Directorate is likely going to question her today.

Based on a complaint filed at Miyapur Police Station, the Enforcement Directorate lodged a case against 29 actors and more than 15 Telugu social media influencers, and most of them are being questioned by the investigating authority. Today (Aug 19th), Nidhhi is summoned for questioning, as a case was lodged under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), stating that she has aided betting apps by promoting them big time.

It was alleged that, along with the likes of Rana Daggubati, Vijay Devarakonda, and others, Nidhhi also reportedly endorsed these betting apps on social media in a big way. Earlier, it was alleged that many betting and gaming apps have laundered money and caused many poor folks to lose a lot of money. Most of the people who played on these apps were actually influenced by celebrities only.
