Popular starlet Nidhhi Aggerwal faced an uncomfortable situation the other day, which was a sort of disturbing one when she was mobbed at a public event. She attended the song launch event of Prabhas’ Raja Saab, as the Sahana song got launched, and the fan behaviour at the event was atrocious.

When Nidhhi was walking out from the event, she was stormed by a mob of fans, who had actually tried to touch her indecently. Under the protection of bouncers, she got rushed to her vehicle; however, going by the video, we can ascertain how shaken she was.

While the event management was blamed for the poor security, the incident also raised serious concerns about the mentality of fans attending such events. With the videos of the incident going viral, already the likes of Chinmayi responded, saying that these men are not fans, but they are animals.

Some prominent folks dubbed that as vulture mentality. Celebrities attend public events to connect with these people, but if they get mobbed like this, these interactions turn into frightening experiences. She got mobbed due to the failure of event managers, but then, the mentality of fans attending these events should be questioned first.

These incidents, like harassment, pushing and invasion of personal space, happened in the past too, and some states like Kerala have banned the likes of Sunny Leone from turning up at public events in the state in order to avoid such mobbing. But the basic thing is that, firstly, fans or admirers, whoever they may be, should understand that admiration doesn’t give anyone the right to touch or intimidate a person.
