Niharika Konidela And Director Yadu Vamsi To Reunite For A New Film

The successful team behind Committee Kurrollu is coming together once again! Actress and producer Niharika Konidela and director Yadu Vamsi, who impressed audiences with their first collaboration, are planning a new project under Niharika’s banner, Pink Elephant Pictures.

According to sources, this upcoming film is currently in discussion stages and is expected to begin shooting in 2026. Fans are excited to see the duo work together again, especially after the huge success of their last movie, Committee Kurrollu.

Committee Kurrollu, which released last year, became a surprise blockbuster. The film was made on a modest budget of ₹9 crores but managed to collect around ₹24.5 crores, including theatrical and non-theatrical revenues. It introduced 11 new male leads and 4 new heroines, which was a unique attempt in Telugu cinema. Director Yadu Vamsi’s storytelling and Niharika’s creative production received high praise from both critics and audiences.

The movie also performed well during the award season. At SIIMA 2025, Niharika Konidela won the award for Best Debut Producer, and Sandeep Saroj bagged Best Debut Actor. The Telangana Government also honored the film at the Gaddar Awards, where it won Best Feature Film on National Integration, Communal Harmony, and Social Upliftment of Depressed Classes. Director Yadu Vamsi received Best Debut Director for his impactful work.

Meanwhile, Pink Elephant Pictures is already busy with its second production. The banner’s Production No. 2 is currently being filmed, directed by Manasa Sharma, starring Sangeet Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Manasa Sharma and Mahesh Uppala, while Manyam Ramesh serves as the Executive Producer and Anudeep Dev handles the music.

This upcoming fantasy-comedy is already creating buzz in Tollywood circles. With Committee Kurrollu still winning awards and gaining recognition, fans are eagerly waiting to see what Niharika and Yadu Vamsi will create next.
