The other day, when a glimpse of Ram Charan’s Pehelwan avatar from “Peddi” got out, it stunned everyone for its raw portrayal of the mega powerstar in such a sculpted avatar. From visuals to presentation, from Charan’s dialogues to his screen presence, everything got attention. More than all of this, fans got a high that the makers have again confirmed that “April 30th” is the release date of the movie. However, the rumours that are popping up now are not living up to that.

Though Ram Charan is taking part in the shoot of “Peddi” despite the fact that he got a small surgery performed on his eyelid, director Buchi Babu Sana has wrapped up the major part of the shooting already. They say that only a week of shooting is left, and the film has all chances to come on time. However, with the USA openings not opened yet, it looks like Peddi is going for a postponement. And if that happens, two films, quite surprisingly, want to alter their release dates to cash in on the May-Day holiday weekend that follows.

After taking a long gap, hero Nikhil is coming up with the epic war movie Swayambhu, which is actually set for April 10th, in a competition with the likes of Adivi Sesh’s Dacoit and others. However, if Ram Charan’s Peddi is out of the slot, Nikhil wants to move to that slot, as his film will get a huge holiday advantage. At the same time, Samantha’s next outing is “Maa Inti Bangaram”, an action film where she appears in a saree, and is set for May 15th release. However, the actress wants to advance the release date to April 30th, such that she could also capitalise on the May Day advantage.

Earlier, Akhil’s Lenin has also occupied that slot, but then, recently, Sithara Entertainment confirmed that they are moving out. Now that they have announced a move out, whether they will roll back their decision to stick to the May Day release is another thing to be seen.
