The casting of the film has also added to the excitement. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi plays Sita. Yash takes on the powerful role of Ravana, and Sunny Deol will appear as Hanuman. Ravi Dubey is playing Lakshman.

The film is being made with the support of global studios like DNEG, known for winning multiple Oscars, ensuring high-quality visual effects. The first part of Ramayana is scheduled to release during Diwali 2026, followed by the second part in Diwali 2027.
