Among the pan-global films being produced by India in recent times, Dangal Director Nitish Tiwari, Ramayana stands tall. Much to everyone's surprise, this film is also being made as two parts and features Ranbir Kapoor as La drama and South's very own Sai Pallavi as Goddess Seetha. Here comes producer Namit Malhotra, making a shocking revelation about the film’s gigantic budget.

To make films that have superior visual effects, especially for carving out mythological tales like Ramayana, the collaboration of world-class Studios is required to bring out the cutting-edge quality. For that huge monnies should be invested, and producer Namit Malhotra stated that he has already spent ₹4000 crores to carve out Part 1 of Ramayana. The producer confirmed that he hasn't even taken a single loan to spend this mammoth investment, but pulled up 4000 crores quite easily.

With the likes of Oscar-winning composers Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman providing music for this movie, and also the film having other star cast like Yash and Vijay Sethupathi, surely the budget will touch the sky. But the moot question Is will Ramayana be able to recover the ₹4000 crores budget from the theatre release and OTT rights for its first part?
