The pre-release event of Kingston not only had the guests and the film's core team talk about its potential but also highlighted the specific assets of the ambitious project. GV Prakash Kumar is its lead man, co-producer and music director.

Producer Maheswara Reddy of Ganga Entertainments explained his decision to release Kingston in the Telugu States. He spoke of the film's "content and the combination that made this film" as key factors that influenced him. Mythri Distributor Shashidhar Reddy echoed this sentiment. He also predicted that Kingston will become a hit in Telugu.

The film, with zombies and spirits, was described as a big-screen experience of sorts. Producer Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers stated that GV Prakash and director Kamal Prakash started planning and crafting Kingston right since the pandemic. The film's release is finally coming to fruition this Friday.

The event also revealed a personal connection between Nithiin (Chief Guest) and GV Prakash, with Venky Kudumula pointing out their shared admiration for Pawan Kalyan and their early entries into the film industry. Nithiin inquired about GV's prolific career, to which GV responded with a simple "I work hard every day." Divya Vijay of Zee Studios expressed the banner’s satisfaction with their collaboration on Kingston.

Venky Atluri, director of Lucky Baskhar, praised Kingston for its "Great quality," particularly its successful execution of CG on a "Fairly reasonable budget." He expressed his hope that director Kamal Prakash would achieve great success. Atluri also observed GV Prakash's "Midas Touch," noting the success of actresses who have worked with him.

Kingston also features Divyabharathi, Chetan, Azhagam Perumal, Elango Kumaravel, Sabumon Abdusamad and others. Gokul Benoy is its cinematographer.
