After Two Drops, Nithiin Finally Gets Rolling

After months of silence, setbacks, and stalled projects, finally hero Nithin has something worthy in hand, in order to go to the sets again. His next project with Sithara Entertainments has officially been launched with a pooja ceremony, and the shoot is set to begin from the second week of May. However, let’s have a look at what happened in the recent times.

After his 2023 debacle Extra Ordrinary Man, Nithin has come up with two films in 2025, Robinhood and Tammudu, and both failed to click big time. Since then, the actor is stuck in a loop. He was part of two projects, including Yellamma and Vikram K Kumar’s Ishq 2, but they completely fell apart. And when projects collapse back-to-back, it’s not just dates that get affected, it his an actor’s momentum and box office prospects too. That’s exactly where Nithiin is right now.

It’s been almost a decade since Nithin has delivered something that truly shook the box office. For an actor who once had a strong youth connect, that gap is starting to show. Coming to his latest movie that was launched today, it is directed by Nari Sirisawada and Somasekhar T. Young beauty Ritika Nayak who scored big success with Mirai, is signed as the female lead.

As Sithara is there in the backing, surely the film will have solid deal with Netflix, but then, the film has to do well at the box office too in order to put the hero’s career back on track.
