At the trailer launch of Thammudu, his latest film releasing on July 4, the actor took a step back from the usual hype and admitted what fans had been thinking: his recent films didn’t land. “The movies I did recently couldn’t make you happy. I apologize,” he said, catching everyone off guard with his honesty.

Standing beside director Venu Sriram, producer Dil Raju, and co-stars including Saptami Gowda and Laya, Nithiin kept it short but heartfelt. He didn’t dodge or defend, just owned it. “This film should be a hit for those who love me, who feel happy when I succeed, and sad when I fail. From now on, I promise to bring you only good films,” he added, hoping Thammudu would turn the tide.

Dil Raju, who is backing the project, echoed that hope with full confidence. “Nithiin is down because his last films didn’t work, but he’ll rise as fast as he fell,” he said. He confirmed that Thammudu will have its premiere shows on July 3, building momentum for the big release.
