Just a few days after cricketer Smriti Mandhana made headlines for reportedly stepping away from her wedding plans, similar rumours are now surrounding popular actress Nivetha Pethuraj. The actress has created strong buzz online after removing all signs of her engagement from social media.

Fans first noticed the change when Nivetha unfollowed her fiancé Dubai-based businessman Rajhith Ibran, on Instagram. Soon after, all their engagement pictures and shared posts were deleted. Earlier this year, she had confirmed their relationship with a warm post that suggested they were planning to marry soon. Now post is also gone. Adding more fuel to the rumours, Nivetha is currently not following anyone on the platform.

Rajhith Ibran also appears to have mirrored the same move. All pictures featuring the actress have disappeared from his account as well. This sudden social media clean-up has left fans confused and concerned, with many believing that the couple may have quietly called off their engagement.
