June Slot For NTR And Neel: Good Or Bad In USA?

Junior NTR is currently working with director, Prashanth Neel for his upcoming project, which has been tentatively titled NTR-NEEL. There are also reports that this project has been titled Dragon and it is currently under production stage.

Coming to the topic, now, the latest communication on this film is that the makers have officially confirmed that the film is going to release in theatres on June 24, 2025. A new poster of the film was released to publicise the new theatrical release date.

However, this new release date in June might not sound all the more convincing and rewarding for the makers in terms of potential box office returns in the United States.

While no Indian films will probably release around then, it is a very big time for Hollywood with Disney, Warner Bros, and Universal all having major releases. Most IMAX and PLFs maybe limited to premiere day.

The fundamental point that must be noted here is that Disney has their upcoming film Toy Story 5 releasing in theatres on June 19. And on the other hand, we have Warner Brothers who are arriving with their upcoming film Super Girl on June 26.

If we look at the kind of bookings and advance locking, that will be done by Disney and wonder brother, we can expect this NTR film to get Chaand between the two of them in terms of premier theatre release. The IMAX screens and large format projections will all be booked by Disney and Warner Brothers.

The situation is going to be very critical for this NTR film in the United States if they decide to stick to this original release plan.
