NTR Explains Why He Chose War 2

NTR is making his Bollywood debut with War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan. The film is set for a worldwide release on August 14. He recently appeared on the cover of Esquire India magazine and spoke about what drew him to the project.

NTR said the film brought together crew members from all over India, with no divide between North and South. “There’s only one industry now, the Indian film industry,” he said. “There’s no special formula for success. The story has to connect with the audience. I chose War 2 because of its strong script. Working with Hrithik was a pleasure.”

He also shared a bit about his personal life. Cooking is one of his favourite hobbies, and he often makes biryani for his wife, Pranathi, and friends. He doesn’t plan much for the future, preferring to take life as it comes.

War 2 is part of Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe and is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Kiara Advani plays the female lead. The songs and trailer have already been well‑received, and fans are looking forward to watching NTR and Hrithik share the screen.
