Highest U.S. Premieres: What's The Target For OG?

It is already known that Andhra Pradesh, deputy chief minister, Pawan Kalyan will be returning to the big screens with his upcoming film OG, which is releasing in theatres on September 25.

While the stage is set for the big release of this film worldwide, there is a lot of discussion happening about the kind of box office prospect that it can usually pack.

It is being reported that the film could be opening on a record, breaking note at the United States box office, as it has already clocked over $1 million from the pre-sales for the premieres itself. The film is not slowing down one bit as it is expected to create more records.

Now there is a parallel discussion happening on whether the film would actually be able to generate adequate revenues to set a new all time record in the United States.

The highest premier record for any Telugu film in the United States till now is $3.9 million, which was set by Kalki. In order to breach, this mark Pawan Kalyan film OG must generate beyond ordinary revenues and it has to be seen if this would actually be possible.

Another crucial point that must be noted here here is that OG is original film and hence it would be that much tougher for the film to touch the mark set by Kalki, which is a huge budget film.

We have to see how the situation would emerge henceforth as the Pawan Kalyan film is on its way to rewrite many records at the global box office.
