Now, a new discussion has started in film circles. According to industry talk, the makers are planning to bring a popular Bollywood actress on board for OG 2. The team reportedly wants a fresh face with strong pan-India appeal to make the sequel bigger than the first film.
However, there is also a major challenge. Many people in the industry are wondering whether top heroines will be able to adjust to Pawan Kalyan’s shooting schedules. Since the actor is balancing films and political commitments, scheduling dates has become a key issue. Because of this, some actresses may find it difficult to commit to a long shooting schedule.
Even so, the makers are said to be confident about their plans. If they succeed in signing a leading Bollywood actress, OG 2 could attract even more attention across India. Fans believe such a move would take the film’s pan-India reach to a completely new level.
Meanwhile, another interesting development is creating headlines. Reports suggest that producer DVV Danayya may not be associated with OG 2. The original OG was produced under DVV Cinemas, but recent promotional updates have come only from Pawan Kalyan Creative Works.
Industry reports claim that differences during the production of OG may have led to this change. There are rumors that funding issues affected the film’s Japan schedule during the final stages of shooting. Despite the challenges, director Sujeeth completed the required portions and delivered the film successfully.
Now, sources indicate that OG 2 could be jointly produced by Pawan Kalyan Creative Works and People Media Factory.
