Sun NXT Scores A Winner With Oka Pathakam Prakaram

The Telugu OTT audience are usually very receptive of quality films and the same is reflecting in the case of Sai Ram Shankar’s suspense thriller ‘Oka Pathakam Prakaram’ which is winning hearts on OTT. After its theatrical release in February, the film started streaming on Sun NXT from June 27. It has quickly gained popularity with record viewership numbers.

The film tells the story of Siddharth Neelakanta, a public prosecutor, played by Sai Ram Shankar. A series of murders happen in Visakhapatnam, and the police begin suspecting Siddharth. The suspense lies in finding out if he is really guilty or if someone else is behind the crimes.

Directed by Vinod Vijayan, the movie was produced under the banners of Vinod Vijayan Films and Vihari Cinema House Pvt. Ltd. Garlapati Ramesh . The team worked hard to deliver a sharp, edge-of-the-seat thriller.

To promote the film in an exciting way, the makers promised ₹10,000 to anyone who could guess the villain before the interval. A total of 50 winners were selected from 50 theatres, and ₹5 lakhs in prize money was distributed. This strategy drew strong public attention.

Even after its theatrical success, the OTT response surprised the makers. The producers thanked Sun NXT content head Sashi Kiran Narayan for his support during the OTT release planning. Sun NXT has truly scored a winner with this film now and rightly so as well.

The cast includes Shruti Sodhi, Ashima Narwal, Samuthirakani, Ravi Pachamuthu, and Bhanu Sri. With music by Rahul Raj and Gopi Sundar, and visuals by Rajeev Rai, the film offers a complete thriller experience.
