Telugu hero scared of Prabhas’ director

Filmmaker Om Raut has once again become a topic of discussion in film circles. According to exclusive information, the director recently narrated a new story to a well-known Telugu actor. However, the hero was not interested in taking up the project at this point in time and the film has been kept on hold for now.

Sources say the narration happened a few weeks ago, but the actor felt it was not the right project for him at the moment. This decision comes at a time when Om Raut is being very careful with his next steps after facing major criticism in the past.

Om Raut last directed the big-budget mythological film Adipurush, which starred Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon. Despite huge expectations, the film turned out to be a box office failure. It also received heavy trolling on social media for its dialogues and visual effects. The negative response affected the director’s reputation, and since then, audiences have been closely watching his career moves.

Some time ago, Om Raut had also announced another project, but there have been no updates about it so far. This silence added to the doubts about his upcoming plans, especially after the backlash he faced.

However, Om Raut last year surprised everyone by officially announcing his comeback film. He revealed a biopic on the life of former President and scientist APJ Abdul Kalam, titled Kalam: The Missile Man of India. The film will star popular Tamil actor Dhanush in the lead role. The first look poster was unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival, creating a strong buzz.

Dhanush shared the poster on social media and said he feels honored to play such an inspiring personality. Om Raut also stated that bringing Dr. Kalam’s life on the big screen is both a creative challenge and a moral responsibility. But still there is no update on this film.
