Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' Sweeps All The Awards At Oscars 2024!

The prestigious Oscar Awards ceremony was held last night and the best films, artists and technicians of 2023 were honored. It was a gigantic event and it is the topic of discussion all over the world now. While 'Oppenheimer' and 'Barbie' were the biggest hits in Hollywood last year, it is Christopher Nolan's film that grabbed 7 major awards on the night.

'Oppenheimer' got the Best Film award while Christopher Nolan grabbed the Best Director award for the same movie. Cillian Murphy who played the title role in 'Oppenheimer' was given the Best Actor Award while 'Ironman' fame Robert Downey Jr got the Best Supporting Actor award for 'Oppenheimer' as well. Ludwig Goransson was given the Music Original Score award for the same movie as well. This biographical drama won the Oscars in the Best Cinematography and Best Editing categories too.

It was the first Oscar nomination of Cillian Murphy and the 'Peaky Blinders' actor who worked in many of Nolan's movies had bagged the award in his first attempt. Coming to the Best Song category which was won by 'Naatu Naatu' from 'RRR' last year, Billie Eilish's 'What Was I Made For' which she composed and sang for 'Barbie' won the Oscars this time.

Star actress Emma Stone won Best Actress at the Oscars for her wonderful performance in 'Poor Things'. While popular host Jimmy Kimmel hosted the event, Ryan Gosling performed on the night to his hit song 'I'm Just Ken' in 'Barbie'.
