Back in the day, when an actress got married or a star heroine crossed the age of 30, her career was just finished. The likes of Simran, Trisha, and many other sirens that were a rage on the silver screen back in the 1990s and 2000s are an example of this. Unlike now, where actresses continue to be the same star heroines even after nearing their 40s, even after having kids, the situation was not like that earlier.

For the kids of the 90s, surely the likes of Sonali Bendre and Jyothika were huge crushes back in the 2000s. These beauties are from the past, so they have missed out on becoming heroines after getting married and having children, unlike Shriya or Alia Bhatt. But now, they are returning to acting, thanks to the OTT era. Jyothika is making her OTT debut with the System web series, while she made her comeback with a Bollywood film already. Sonali Bendre, with Raakh, is coming back to acting through another Amazon web series.

Well, gone are the days when star heroines don’t get work, but now, it looks like, until their last breath, most starlets could continue acting, and that is a great development in terms of how audiences and filmmakers perceive the idea of an actress. Now, star heroines of all ages, including the 60-year-old like Shabana Azmi, to that of other young stars, everyone is shining, thanks to OTTs. Due to that, childhood crushes of many men of all ages are coming back to films now!
