Streaming Today: ARM, Devara, Vettaiyaan

Just like every other week, we have new releases on OTT this week as well. We have an interesting set of releases lined up on the OTT platforms. Including Devara, we also have the release of Vettaiyaan and ARM on different streaming platforms.

One of the highlights is Devara, starring NTR in a compelling dual role under the direction of Koratala Siva. This much-anticipated blockbuster's first part has made its debut on Netflix. Although the Hindi-dubbed version is expected to arrive soon, the film is accessible in various other languages.

Devara narrates the tale of a mighty sea warrior who takes a violent stand against his village's criminal deeds. Years later, his mild-mannered son walks a path of his own.

Another significant addition to streaming platforms is Vettaiyaan, featuring the legendary Rajinikanth and supported by a stellar cast, including Manju Warrier and Fahadh Faasil. Now available on Amazon Prime Video, Vettaiyaan received critical praise but still needs to achieve substantial box office success.

The film's plot is about a ruthless criminal activity that meets with force from a maverick police officer who disregards the rules as he confronts an outbreak of lawlessness.

Fans of Malayalam cinema can also enjoy ARM on Disney+ Hotstar, with Tovino Thomas taking the lead. The plot is: Set in the Northern Kerala in 1900, 1950 and 1990, three generations of heroes Maniyan, Kunjikelu and Ajayan, try to protect the most important treasure of the Land.
