By: Shanaz B Syed | 24 Oct 2025 12:46 PM ISTThis week, the OTT world feels like a candy store, you don’t know where to start. With no big theatrical releases except Bison (dubbed), streaming platforms have brought in a bunch of films to keep everyone entertained. From thrillers to dramas, and documentaries to fantasy, there’s something to binge no matter your mood.
Prime Video kicked things off on October 20 with No Other Land, a documentary-style drama about the emotional struggles in Israel-Palestine. The next day was a packed lineup: sci-fi thriller Afterburn, drama Anemone, horror-thriller Dead of Winter, adventure drama The Long Walk, biopic Riefstahl, romance-drama The Roses, and family drama The Summer Book. Plenty of variety to keep you scrolling through the options.
Netflix joined the fun with Wash Level 2 (Gujarati, Hindi), a horror-thriller, and the multi-language series The Monster of Florence. By October 23, They Call Him OG, in five languages and Indonesian fantasy drama The Elixir dropped, showing how platforms are thinking global and local at the same time.
Towards the weekend, more releases kept the buzz alive. Jio Hotstar added Shakti Thirumagan (Bhadrakali) and Mahabharata: Oka Dharmayuddha AI.
SunNXT brought the Tamil documentary Tales of Tradition: Parai Isai Nadagam. Lionsgate Play gave fans Adventure Time: Fiona & Cake Season 2 and The Apprentice, and HBO Max added horror-thriller Weapons.
