Paradha Trailer: Anupama stuns in heart touching role

Paradha starring Anupama Parameswaran, Darshana Rajendra, Sangita and directed by Praveen Kandregula, created good anticipation with the teaser. Also, songs released from the film have made a good impression. Now, Ustaad Ram Pothineni has released trailer of this highly promising women empowerment film.

The trailer showcases the struggles of Anupama, haillng from a village, on a mission to reach a temple situated in the difficult terrains of Himalayas. Anupama forms a team with Darshana and Sangita, to reach her destination. She faces practical issues due to her Paradha, and many keep asking her to open up.

But she sticks to her beliefs and there is a strong back story behind her that involves her village. Entire village opposes her and she is on a mission to prove her innocence. The shots of Anupama being equated to Goddess Kali, at the end of the trailer induce goosebumps.

Throughout, she gave a compelling performance as a village belle, who is sticking to her traditons and beliefs, no matter who mocks. The exotic locales, spell-binding visuals and director's vision enhanced by Gopi Sundar's BGM makes this movie, a must watch.
