Janhvi Kapoor’s Param Sundari Faces Dull Bookings

Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra are ready to hit theaters with the rom-com Param Sundari, directed by Tushar Jalota today. The song Paradesiya, featuring the lead pair is already a chartbuster, and other tracks from the film have also been well received.

Despite the music and Maddock Films’ track record, advance bookings are slower than expected. The film was aiming for around 35,000 tickets in national chains, but Book My Show shows a sluggish pace. The movie will now rely on word of mouth to make a strong opening.

The cast includes Renji Panicker, Siddhartha Shankar, Manjot Singh, and Sanjay Kapoor in supporting roles. Sachin-Jigar composed the soundtrack, which has caught audience attention. Even with these elements, early booking numbers show the film may need positive audience reactions to pick up momentum.
