Give Me Bail Or Poison, Heroine Demands

Jailed Kannada heroine Pavitra Gowda, who was the A1 in the killing of a movie fan, Renukaswamy, in association with her alleged beau Darshan, has now made a major complaint that the Nigerian woman inmates in the jail are harassing her big time. In that connection, she made a sensational demand that even the Court might be shocked.

Apparently, Pavitra complained that she’s being harassed by the Nigerian woman in the cell, and jail authorities have already changed her cell. However, the actress claimed that the harassment is continuing and sought the Court either to give her bail or some poison so that she would die. With her lawyers raising concern about her safety in court, the prosecution confirmed that she had already been moved to a different barrack, but the Bengaluru City Civil Sessions Court is yet to give a verdict regarding the plea.

Coming to the main case, in retaliation to the obscene messages sent to her on social media, Pavitra Gowda and her partner, hero Darshan, had Renukaswamy kidnapped and killed in June 2024. After the Supreme Court cancelled their bail, both the actors remained in jail. Back in June 2026, the Supreme Court restricted Darshan from applying for bail for at least a year. After one of the perpetrators turned approver, the noose around Darshan and Pavitra tightened.
