Lately, it feels like every actor wants a digital shield. Pawan’s move just adds more fire to that growing trend.
By: Shanaz B Syed | 12 Dec 2025 1:32 PM ISTAfter megastar Chiranjeevi and Akkineni Nagarjuna, and even Bollywood icons like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for her daughter's image and Amitabh Bachchan, the latest big name to hit the courts for image protection is Andhra Pradesh deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. Lately, it feels like every actor wants a digital shield. Pawan’s move just adds more fire to that growing trend.
He’s filed a petition in the Delhi High Court, asking for protection of his personal rights. According to the plea, AI videos and social media posts based on his performances are creating disturbances and misrepresenting him. The court acted fast, asking that the links be shared within 48 hours and instructing Google, Meta, and other platforms to take action within a week. Next hearing is lined up for December 22, so fans are watching closely.
On the movie side, Pawan hasn’t been idle. He appeared this year in Hari Hara Veera Mallu and OG, keeping the cult fans happy. But the bigger excitement is already building for 2026. His upcoming movie Ustaad Bhagat Singh is slated for the first quarter, and the first single Dheklenge Saala is already trending on social media with reels and shorts.
This year, Pawan is juggling courtrooms, politics, and films like a pro. Ustaad Bhagat Singh was scheduled to release in April, but a rumour that it may release early in March, we have to wait and see for official confirmation.
