Pawan Kalyan Calls KS Bobby - What’s Up?

Powerstar and AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan might not have recovered from the Ustaad Bhagat Singh wound delivered by Harish Shankar, but then, he’s looking for the right options for his next films, if the talk is anything to go by. Sharing a picture clicked with Pawan Kalyan, today, director KS Bobby shared a heartfelt note about meeting the star, giving rise to some speculations.

If you look back, Bobby and Pawan Kalyan worked together on Sardaar Gabbar Singh. Touching on the same thing, Bobby described Pawan Kalyan as someone who has transformed completely, from an actor he worked with earlier to a leader who is now serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. During Sardar Gabbar Singh’s time, Pawan was already stepping into politics, but he was still actively doing films. Now, things have changed big time. In his note, Bobby compared the experience to meeting a “rishi”, someone who has given up comforts and is living by strong beliefs. He even drew a parallel to Gautama Buddha, saying how we read about such sacrifices in history, but he felt he saw something similar in real life.

In recent years, we have seen many actors entering politics. But the perception around each one is different. In Pawan’s case, his followers strongly believe he has sacrificed personal comfort for public life. Keeping all that aside, Bobby’s post indirectly indicates that this is more than just a reunion. While Surender Reddy is the current director in line for Pawan Kalyan, should we say that Bobby might do a movie with him after wrapping his upcoming project with Megastar Chiru?
