OG premieres: What confusion is this?
However, there is something odd about the kind of permissions that were secured by this film as the two Telugu states are coming with contrasting show timings.
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Sept 2025 10:29 PM ISTPawan Kalyan will be returning to the big screens with his upcoming film OG, which is preparing for its release on September 25. Ahead of the release of the film, the makers have managed to secure permissions for special shows from the government of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
However, there is something odd about the kind of permissions that were secured by this film as the two Telugu states are coming with contrasting show timings.
Earlier the government of Andhra Pradesh permitted special shows for the film starting from one in the morning on September 25, and the ticket prices were located at ₹1000.
However, something unexpected had happened with the government of Telangana as they had permitted premieres on September 24. This would essentially mean that the special Premier shows of OG will be starting from 9 PM on September 24 itself.
This is incomplete, contrast to the permissions issued by the government of Andhra Pradesh, as the show timings are completely messed up. The makers simply cannot afford to have special shows in Telangana starting at nine while Andhra Pradesh shows start at one in the morning.
So the situation is so peculiar that the makers of OG will have to find a way to orchestrate the premier shows at simultaneous timings in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
There is a lot of confusion happening about the premier show timings, and it has been seen what would be finalised in the near future. The film is preparing for its release in under the week from now, and this confusion will not serve anyone well.
