Official: Rs 1000 price for OG special shows!

In a week from now, Pawan Kalyan will be returning to the big screens with his upcoming film OG, which is reducing in theatres on September 25. It has now been confirmed that the film will not have paid premieres the day before.

Instead, the film will be releasing in theatres on September 25, and the shows will be starting at one in the morning, which can be categorised as special shows.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has officially granted permission for a ticket price hike for Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited film OG. As per the order issued on 17 September 2025, the government has allowed special relaxation in rules to enable both a benefit show and enhanced ticket pricing across the state.

According to the notice, one special benefit show can be screened on 25 September 2025 at 1:00 A.M., with each ticket priced at ₹1000 (including GST).

However, theatres are restricted to a maximum of five shows per day. Additionally, ticket rates have been revised for a limited period. From 25 September to 4 October 2025, single-screen theatres can charge an extra ₹125 per ticket (including GST), while multiplexes can collect an additional ₹150 per ticket (including GST) over the prevailing ticket prices already approved by the government.

This decision comes after a request from the producer and the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, highlighting the huge buzz surrounding OG.
