By: Tupaki Desk | 22 Sept 2025 2:42 PM ISTIt has been a while since Pawan Kalyan did a stylish action film with original tone, and this wait is coming to an end with OG. This film is preparing for its release on September 25, and the expectations are through the roof for the same.
In this context, the trailer for the film has been released a short while back, and it looks absolutely magnanimous to the eye.
The trailer opens with the introduction of the characterisation of Kalyan, who plays Ojas Gambheera. He is the violent assassin, who created an absolute bloodbath in Mumbai, several years ago and his persona is still radiating in the city.
After a series of events, this violent Gambhira is called back to action, and this is precisely when Kalyan makes his entry into Mumbai again, and this is going to be the main plot of OG.
Write from the looks to the stylish presentation. Kalyan looks absolutely enigmatic and larger-than-life. He has this aura to carry such a violent assassin role and his gradient is on top display from start to finish.
This is the kind of original and stylish action that was expected from Kalyan for a really long time now, and it is great to see him deliver what is expected of him. Young director Sujeeth absolutely shines as a filmmaker as he looks to extract the very last bit of aura from Kalyan.
The final shot of the teaser, where Kalyan is seen screaming Ojas Gambheera will cater to his fans. It appears that a proper fanboy film is on the cards from Sujeeth this time as big things are being promised.
The background score by Thaman is ordinary as certain kick that is expected during the elevation shots of Kalyan is missing. More proactive background score, could have worked brilliantly for the trailer.
Nevertheless, this is enough to bring the audience to theatre in big numbers on September 25 and this will set the stage for what’s to come.
