OG2: The Missing Part Is Worked Out Fully

Like it was discussed in these columns already, even though Pawan Kalyan’s last year’s outing #OG made ₹300 crores from the box office, but there is one big disappointment from the film. While the visuals, elevations for Ojas Gambheera and the music are top notch, director Sujeeth has failed to come up with an interesting story that would stun the audience. That’s the biggest drawback for the film which otherwise could have easily grossed more than ₹700 crores.

Coming to #OG2, a prequel film that was announced recently by Pawan Kalyan himself, based on the comic book that was created by Sujeeth long back, here’s what they are doing. As the talk of the not-so-impactful story has spread everywhere, director Sujeeth and his team are currently working on the story part. Even Pawan Kalyan is said to have advised the director to carve out a more powerful story now. There are some surprising cameos in the movie that are also being planned at the moment, as per the updates.

On the other hand, with Pawan Kalyan Creative Works producing the film and another top Telugu producer likely to join as an investment partner, many are wondering how Powerstar will craft and market the film now. Because taking the pressure of a producer is something like taking much more on the shoulders than needed. Already he’s busy as a Deputy Chief Minister, and many are wondering if he could look into all these aspects properly.
