After Chiru and Charan, Sujeeth Went To Pawan Kalyan!

Pawan Kalyan is witnessing the biggest opening day collections in his career for his latest film OG which released in theatres on September 25. The film opened on a blockbuster note at the box office and young director Sujeeth is to be appreciated for the same.

The latest discussion here is about the kind of efforts and channelling that happened before the creation of OG and how it had the young film maker Sujeeth spiralling around.

After having completed Saaho, this young film maker was supposed to do a film with Ram Charan, and even discuss several ideas with the mega hero. But this project never really took off, and the young filmmaker was approached for the Telugu remake of Malayalam film Lucifer with mega Star Chiranjeevi.

But again, the collaboration, which Chiranjeevi also never really happened and Sujeeth had to silently fly to Mumbai to work on a Bollywood film.

This was precisely when Trivikram approached Sujeeth with the idea of working with Pawan Kalyan for a gangster film, and that is eventually how OG happened.

Incidentally, Sujeet was supposed to come up with a remake script for Kalyan as well, but things changed in the due course, and he was presented with the opportunity to come up with an original script. That is when OG really happened and this project took off.

The young Director pointed out that Kalyan and Trivikram had never questioned him about his filmmaking practices, nor did they doubt his abilities.
