Power Star Pawan Kalyan is once again in the news, but this time not for movies or politics. He has received a rare international honour in the field of martial arts. This recognition has shown a new and inspiring side of his personality to fans and followers.

Recently, Pawan Kalyan was honoured with the title “Tiger of Martial Arts” by the Golden Dragons organisation. This prestigious recognition was given to him for his long dedication, discipline, and deep knowledge of martial arts. Earlier, he was also awarded the title “Abhinava Sri Krishnadevaraya” for his contribution to Indian culture and values. These back-to-back honours highlight his commitment beyond cinema and politics.

A special highlight of this achievement is Pawan Kalyan’s official entry into Kenjutsu, an ancient Japanese sword-fighting art. Kenjutsu is closely linked with traditional Samurai culture and requires years of strict practice. With this honour, Pawan Kalyan has become one of the few Indians to receive global recognition in Japanese martial arts.

Interestingly, his journey in martial arts began long before he entered films or politics. During his early days in Chennai, he trained seriously in karate and other combat forms. Over the years, he continued studying Japanese Samurai philosophy and combat techniques with strong discipline. This lifelong dedication has now earned him respect at an international level.

Japan-based martial arts body Sogo Budo Kanri Kai awarded him the Fifth Dan rank, which is considered a very high level of mastery. He also became the first Indian to be formally inducted into the historic Takeda Shingen clan lineage, an honour rarely given to non-Japanese practitioners.

Meanwhile, a montage video released by Pawan Kalyan Creative Works is going viral on social media. The video features his childhood photos, black belt ceremony moments, and powerful action scenes from films like Thammudu, Panja and OG.
