Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film Ustaad Bhagat Singh is one of the most awaited Telugu movies of the year. The film is directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Recently, the director shared a positive update that has increased excitement among fans.
According to the makers, the film will release worldwide on March 19, 2026. The movie was originally planned for a later date, but the team decided to prepone it to take advantage of the Ugadi festive season. The decision was taken after the delay of another big film, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups. With that movie moving to June 2026, the Ugadi holiday slot became free, and the makers of Ustaad Bhagat Singh quickly locked the date.
However, the film will face competition at the box office from Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar. Both films are scheduled to release on March 19, which could make the day interesting for movie lovers.

He said that the team is working day and night to complete the remaining post-production work before the release date. He also thanked fans for their love and patience while waiting for updates.
The music of the film is another highlight. Devi Sri Prasad composed the songs, while S Thaman is currently working on the background score. Harish Shankar said Thaman is putting great effort into creating powerful background music that will increase the impact of the film in theatres.
Harish Shankar also asked fans to continue supporting the movie and promised that more updates will be released soon. He said the team wants to give audiences a memorable cinema experience when the film releases during the Ugadi celebrations.
Apart from Pawan Kalyan, the movie also features Sreeleela, Raashii Khanna, and Ashutosh Rana in important roles. The producers are mainly focusing on the South market, especially the Telugu audience, though a small Hindi release is also being planned.
