Can Vijay Get Better Start Than Pawan Kalyan?

Janasena President and the sitting deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan is one of the most aquatic politicians in South Indian Cinema in the current day scenario. But he had a rather shaky started to his political career as his first stint in Andhra Pradesh politics did not go as planned.

Back when Pawan Kalyan conducted the 2019 Andhra Pradesh election for the first time, his party could not show any sort of impact as it won just 1/175 MLAs seats. In fact, Pawan Kalyan himself ended up losing both the seats, Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka.

However, the persistence and Hardwork of Kalyan paid richly for him at the later point in time as he scripted his story, come back in the 2024 election by winning all 21 seats that he and his party had contested.

On the other hand, we have Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay, who is himself entering politics with great dreams now. He held a massive public meeting in Madurai yesterday to start the electoral battle for the 2026 Tamil Nadu assembly election, which are promising to be a great deal.

Vijay had communicated that he would be contesting from the Madurai East constituency and stage is being set for the same. This is going to be one of the historic electoral campaigns in Tamil Nadu’s recent electoral history.

Now the discussion on the topic pertaining to the kind of similarities and possible dissimilarities that could be drawn between Kalyan and Vijay.

In terms of enigma and crowd, pulling capabilities, it appears that these two superstars are very identical as they are both able to draw huge crowds. But the real question here is whether Vijay would be successful in his very first term in politics, or whether he would have a slow start like Kalyan.

This is going to be the deciding factor in the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly election as Vijay is already projected to be a key player here.
