North Indian girl Payal Ghosh has been creating a lot of ripples on the internet through her sensational comments on the Hindi film industry over the last few years. She did movies like 'Prayanam' and 'Ooseravelli' in Telugu and always speaks highly of Tollywood. She acted in a couple of Bollywood projects and it looks like she did not have some pleasant experiences.
She recently took to Twitter and lashed out at Bollywood once again. She said, "Thank god, I got launched in South Film Industry, if I would have got launched in #Bollywood they would have removed my clothes to present me, cos they use female bodies more than their creativity." It sparked a debate on the internet as some people claim that the South film industry is equally bad when treating their women.
She took part in the 'Me Too' movement a few years back and made some sensational allegations on filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. She said that he is speaking a lot about women empowerment a lot these days which feels like a joke. Apparently, when Payal went to meet Anurag back in 2014 or 2015, he was seen having alcohol along with some other substance. At that time, Anurag was directing 'Bombay Velvet' and he reportedly took Payal to another room and went on to say things like girls wanting to sleep with him just to act in a scene with Ranbir Kapoor, a superstar like Amitabh wanting him to work with Abhisekh and Karan Johar being very close to him.
Anurag reportedly asked her to be close with him in order to make it big in the industry and even said that he is a phone call away from actresses Huma Qureshi, Richa Chadda, Mahi Gill and said that they will do anything for him. Payal added that Anurag tried to force her at that time but she disagreed to it. This became a huge topic of discussion as Richa Chadda filed a lawsuit on Payal for bringing her name into it. We need to wait and see where Payal's arguments lead to.
