Already, the spicy role being played by Janhvi Kapoor in Peddi got highlighted after the trailer of the film was released. Many in the North and also in the Telugu states are talking a lot about the glam factor being brought to the table by her. Though her role might be short and sweet, surely the impact of the character is going to be felt very strongly. However, this is not just an eye candy role written by Buchi Babu Sana, but a character based on a real-life reference.

Apparently, there is a weaver named Muppavarapu Achiyamma from Kottapalli village. While weaving cloth, her family made money and bought a piece of land. However, after that land was acquired to build a factory, she used that money to build a function hall, and gave it to many families for free weddings. That’s the reason people of Kottapalli village adore her a lot. Janhvi’s role is largely based on this character arc, and that will be so stunning in the film, says insiders who have seen some rushes of Janhvi’s character already.

While the love track with Peddi aka Ram Charan, is surely fictional, the realistic angle behind the Achiyamma character being played by Janhvi is interesting for now.
