A fresh controversy has started in Nizamabad just before the release of Ram Charan’s much-awaited film Peddi. The issue is centered around the famous Nataraj Theatre, which has now become a major discussion point in the Telugu film industry.

According to reports, the management of Nataraj Theatre has alleged harassment and intimidation after leasing the theatre to Mythri Movie Makers. The theatre owners claimed that a previous lease agreement had already been terminated, but they are now facing pressure and threats regarding the theatre’s control. The family also alleged that they were told, “Mee theatre mee ishtam kaadu ikkada,” which has created further controversy.

At the same time, the issue has reportedly turned into a prestige matter between Mythri Movie Makers and Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC). Since Nizamabad is considered the hometown of producer Dil Raju and Sirish Reddy, the dispute has attracted significant attention in industry circles. Reports suggest that crucial discussions were scheduled between the two groups to find a solution.

Industry sources say the disagreement over Nataraj Theatre has become one of the last-minute hurdles for Peddi in the Nizam region. Some reports claimed that SVC theatres may not screen the film until the issue is resolved. Since SVC controls several important theatres in the region, the outcome of the discussions is considered important for the film’s release plans.

The controversy comes at a time when Peddi is already facing other release-related challenges, including discussions over ticket pricing and distribution matters. Despite these issues, the makers remain confident about the film’s release and are working to resolve all pending concerns before the premieres begin.
