Producer Venkata Satish Kilaru, making his debut, expressed heartfelt gratitude toward Ram Charan. He shared that being entrusted with a film of this magnitude for his first outing was a lifetime opportunity. Praising director Buchi Babu Sana, he added that Peddi is a film that leaves a lasting imprint and will resonate strongly with audiences across languages.
Buchi Babu described Peddi as a commercial film powered by raw emotion, emphasising that the story is deeply rooted yet crafted for a wide audience. He apologised for the earlier date change and requested viewers’ support for the new release. “You’ll see the love I have for Ram Charan in the film.”
Recalling his experience listening to the climax of Uppena, Sukumar said he instantly recognised Buchi Babu as a filmmaker capable of handling any genre. “Peddi is both expansive in scale and emotionally rich, which is an extremely difficult blend to achieve. Cinematographer Rathnavelu elevated the drama with striking visuals.”
Sukumar reserved special praise for Ram Charan, stating that the actor’s performance in Peddi would exceed even what audiences witnessed in Rangasthalam. “Watching Charan in Rai Rai Raa Raa track felt overwhelming.”
Sukumar also confirmed that Peddi will be released in grand way in 5 languages.
