Peddi is Written For Charan, Not For NTR?

One of the biggest things about Ram Charan’s Peddi is that the film was originally supposed to be done by Jr NTR. Director Buchi Babu Sana has travelled with Jr NTR for a while, but for reasons unknown, the film hasn’t materialised. It has come out that Jr NTR asked for a change in the climax, regarding which director Buchi Babu Sana is now claiming that the last 45 minutes of emotional high were delivered by Ram Charan.

Speaking about all of this, Buchi Babu has, however, made one thing clear. Initially, Buchi Babu had written the story of Peddi with Ram Charan in mind. However, at that time, Ram Charan had different plans immediately after RRR, and he hadn’t shown interest. Later, it went to Jr NTR, but things didn’t work out there. However, finally Ram Charan agreed to do it, and that’s how Buchi Babu got back to the original hero he had written the film for. Guess what, every story will have the one who has to do it, and the story rightly chooses the hero. Looks like that sentiment turned out to be true again.

However, there are times when films given up by some heroes have worked for others, like how Tholiprema, given up by Sumanth, worked for Pawan Kalyan, and Pokiri, given up by Pawan Kalyan, worked out for Mahesh Babu. Also, there are times when films like Oosaravelli, which were given up by Ram, didn’t work for Jr NTR later. We have to see in which category Peddi will finally fall.
