Peddi Moves To Vijayawada: Pawan’s Directive?

When it comes to movies and events, Hyderabad mostly remains the first choice of almost all filmmakers. Despite Telugus having two states now, and the Andhra Pradesh Government trying to grab a part of Tollywood to be relocated or reinstalled in the Vijayawada-Amaravati region, surely nothing of such is happening. However, only it’s Pawan Kalyan, due to his Deputy CM commitments, has made his producers build sets in Mangalagiri and shot films like #OG and Ustaad there.

Guess what, the decision to take up the upcoming big-ticket film Peddi ‘s pre-release event to Vijayawada is now surprising. Big film events happen mostly in Hyderabad only, or sometimes our makers choose Vizag. However, Peddi locked Vijayawada for the grand pre-release event as it is going to take place on June 1st at the exhibition ground in Vijayawada. Fans are expecting that there is Pawan Kalyan’s directive behind this, as the Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh wants some major film events to take place in the Andhra region too, rather than sticking to Hyderabad all the time.

Already Peddi was shot mostly in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra only, the rest in Hyderabad film studios, so naturally the film should be doing events in both the Telugu states. And owing to Ram Charan’s humongous craze, a Vijayawada event should be followed by another Hyderabad event as well, is what fans are feeling. Anyway, Peddi is slowly becoming the talking point everywhere, as Tollywood is expecting that the film will break the dry run. Peddi hits cinemas on June 4th.
