It is almost confirmed now that Peddi is not arriving on April 30th as planned, if we look at the factors around it. The makers are already working on a new release date. At the same time, one pending piece is holding things back, which is nothing but the special song.

There were early rumours about Mrunal Thakur coming on board. But it looks like that didn’t go through. Reports say her remuneration demand was on the higher side, and the team decided to drop the idea. Then another name started doing rounds, which is of Telugu beauty Manasa Varanasi. But even that is not confirmed yet. So the situation is still unclear as to who will do the hyped Item Song in this movie.

On the other side, director Buchi Babu Sana is in Chennai working with AR Rahman on the background score. At the same time, producer Venkata Satish Kilaru is in talks with Netflix regarding the revised release plans. Everything should fall into place in the next few days, most probably.
