Will Peddi Director Go Rajamouli Way?
Though the director has earlier opined that he has already made a story ready for Superstar Mahesh and will be narrating him soon, many are wondering if he will take up that project.

Though the director has earlier opined that he has already made a story ready for Superstar Mahesh and will be narrating him soon, many are wondering if he will take up that project.
If we look at the likes of SS Rajamouli and even Sukumar, after doing some of the biggest films of their careers, those directors carefully selected Tier-2 heroes to do movies. Because the expectations will be very high, and they want to tone it down until the audience will readily accept whatever they do. After delivering a high-octane industry hit like Magadheera, director Rajamouli hasn’t rushed to any other big star; he has made Maryada Ramanna with Sunil in the lead. That’s how Rajamouli constructed his base first. Later he made Eega with VFX and then came to the Baahubali series. Similarly, after Arya 2, Sukumar also made 100% Love with Naga Chaitanya, rather than going for big stars. Which way will Buchi Babu go?
For now, the director is said to be enjoying the fact that he made a film that collected over ₹200 crores gross already, and if by any chance it touches ₹300 crores, surely the director is in a league of filmmakers like Anil Ravipudi who are delivering triple-century grossers these days. There are not many directors in that league, actually.
