By: Shanaz B Syed | 23 May 2026 4:00 PM ISTRam Charan’s upcoming film Peddi is now aiming for something much bigger than just a regular promotional event. Today, all eyes are turned towards the mega musical night that’s going to happen at Bhopal, as AR Rahman is ready to take the music lovers of Central India by storm. However, one big question that’s lingering across the minds of movie lovers and trade circles is that, will beat Pushpa 2’s Patna event.
The buzz around the Peddi event is already reaching another level. Unlike regular pre-release functions, the Peddi Bhopal event is reportedly being designed like a mega public celebration of songs. What’s making things even crazier is the addition of legendary composer A. R. Rahman performing live on the stage. Along with the live musical performance, the makers are also planning to launch the newest item song from the movie there itself.
According to ongoing industry talk, the team is expecting close to one lakh audience for the event. If that number turns into reality, then Peddi will stand next to the phenomenon created by the Pushpa 2 event earlier. At that time, the visuals of massive crowds gathering just to see Allu Arjun became a national talking point and proved how strongly Telugu cinema has penetrated into Hindi hinterlands.
Now that Peddi seems to be chasing that same wave, but with a different energy altogether, we have to see how the event turns out to be. If Peddi event clicks, it’s not just Ram Charan’s success, but showcases how Telugu cinema’s reach in North India is only getting bigger with every passing year.
