Hyderabad Police File Case on Kalpika Ganesh

A birthday celebration turned into a police matter for actress Kalpika Ganesh. The Hyderabad police have filed a case against her under sections 324(4), 352, and 351(2) of the BNS Act after a complaint was lodged by staff at Prism Pub.

The incident happened on the 29th of last month. Kalpika reportedly got into an argument with the pub staff over a birthday cake and refused to settle the bill. Things escalated, and the management approached the Gachibowli police. The case was booked with court approval.

The bar staff claimed Kalpika tossed plates at them and passed body-shaming comments. They said the circumstances got out of control rapidly and required intervention. Based on their form, the police have presently taken formal action.

Kalpika, in turn, has recorded a case against the bar, blaming them of badgering. With both sides going legal, this face-off may take a while to cool down.
