Cinema personalities and actors are often susceptible to social media roles and intense social media hate. The same is to be understood from the latest statement issued by actress Pooja Hegde who spoke at length about the social media activities that are happening these days.

Pooja revealed that social media is not a real place as there is a lot of negativity here which primarily comes from unestablished sources and faceless people.

“Social media is not even a real place. If you go and check the accounts that have been trolling and abusing you, you do not even see their profile pictures. They are more like bots and fake profiles that are created just to belittle and defame you.”

Revealed that her mother used to take all the social media hate and negative articles very personally, after which she had to explain to her mother about the kind of targeted and paid negativity that is happening. Pooja revealed that a few people spend even crores of rupees on negativity on other actors, which is a sad reality these days.

The actress further spoke about how she is getting typecasted in Hindi cinema these days while she is clearly trying to establish herself as a fine actress. She will next be seen in the upcoming big league Tamil film Coolie.

It appears that the actress is now fully in terms with the kind of activity that happens on social media, and she is least bothered about the same.
