Director asked star heroine to come without make up

In her latest interaction with the Media Pooja Hegde revealed about this incident when director Karthik Subbaraj instructed her to appear for the audition without any make up. She coincidentally revealed that this was the first time she was meeting the Director as well.

“When I was called for a script narration with director, Karthik Subbaraj Sir, I was asked by him to come without any make-up or hairstyling. I was instantly surprised and amazed by the choice of visual presentation that he had designed for me. Even naturally, I like to present myself without any cosmetics. So I was instantly pulled towards the conviction of Director to showcase me in a natural manner.”

Pooja revealed that she had always wanted to do a natural film that would present her uncovered side, and that is the reason why she happily did Retro without any apprehensions.

It appears that Pooja will be seen with very little make-up and hairstyling in this action film, which is preparing for release on May 1. Considering the importance that this film holds in the career of Pooja, she is actively promoting the same, perhaps even better than Suriya.
