"What’s Your Problem?" Pooja Hegde Hits Back at Repeated Questions

Pooja Hegde recently faced a tough interview while promoting her film Deva alongside Shahid Kapoor. During the interview, she was repeatedly asked about working with big Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Ranveer Singh. The interviewer asked her if luck played a role in getting these opportunities.

Pooja responded calmly the first two times, explaining that there must have been a reason why these stars cast her in their films. However, when the same question was asked for the third time, she became frustrated. She asked the interviewer, "What’s your problem with me?"

In the interview, the interviewer mentioned that actors coming from the South have to struggle to work with big Bollywood stars. He wondered how Pooja was able to get such big roles so quickly. Pooja replied, "I think there's a saying that 'luck is when opportunity meets preparation.' When the opportunity came, I was ready for it." She agreed that if one wants to call it luck, that’s fine.

Later, the interviewer asked Pooja how she chooses films, especially when big heroes are involved. Pooja, feeling irritated, replied, "What’s your problem with me?" Shahid Kapoor, trying to lighten the mood, joked, "Deep down, he wants to be you and dance with those actors."

Pooja Hegde started her acting career with the Tamil film Mugamoodi in 2012. She later entered Bollywood with Mohenjo Daro alongside Hrithik Roshan in 2016. She has acted in several successful films like Housefull 4, Cirkus and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Her latest movie Deva, starring Shahid Kapoor, was released on January 31, 2025.
