Pooja Hegde To Romance Suriya In His 44th Film?

Ravishing beauty Pooja Hegde suddenly disappeared from Tollywood in 2023 after ruling the roost for a couple of years. She wanted to get busy in Bollywood and walked out of a project like 'Guntur Karam' as well. She desperately wanted to become a star heroine in Bollywood and pinned a lot of hopes on Salman Khan's film which turned into a debacle. With no projects in Hindi, sources say that her plans have changed now.

She is eyeing to make a comeback in the South and there were rumors about her pairing up with heroes like Nani, Sai Tej and Siddu Jonnalagadda as well. The recent reports from tinsel town suggest that she is finalised as the female lead in Tamil star hero Suriya's next film. It will be his 44th film and Karthik Subbaraj is directing it.

The shooting of this movie commences on 2nd June in the Anadaman Islands. Sources claim that the 40-day long schedule has been planned by the makers in Andaman, Ooty and other areas of Tamil Nadu. Pooja Hegde did 'Mask' back in 2013 with Jeeva and romanced Vijay in 'Beast' which came out in 2022. Both the films were termed as failures and it is going to be her third Tamil film.

She needs a hit to bounce back in the South and let us see if Suriya and Karthik Subbaraj provide it for her or not. Santosh Narayan is the music composer for this film and Suriya will be bankrolling it under his 2D Entertainments banner along with Stone Bench Films. He is currently working on 'Kanguva' and lined up another flick with Sudha Kongara too.
