Pan-India superstar Prabhas has completed shooting for his much-awaited film The Raja Saab, a romantic horror comedy directed by Maruthi. The movie is scheduled for a grand Sankranthi 2026 release and is currently in its post-production stage. To celebrate Prabhas completing 23 years in the film industry, director Maruthi shared a new poster of the actor in a stylish look, holding a cigarette.
Taking to his social media, Maruthi wrote, “23 years ago, he took his first step into cinema. Today, he wraps his journey in The Raja Saab on the same day. I feel blessed and lucky to be part of his victorious journey. I’m confident this film will bring a completely different energy.”
The movie stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar as the leading ladies. It is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, with music composed by Thaman S.
The story of The Raja Saab revolves around a haunted mansion filled with ghosts, hidden treasures, and strange secrets. Prabhas plays a cheerful young man who falls in love with Nidhhi’s character. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he enters the eerie mansion and faces supernatural challenges. Actor Sanjay Dutt is said to appear in a mysterious role with supernatural powers, adding a dark and powerful touch to the film.
The film also features a strong supporting cast including Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore, Brahmanandam, Yogi Babu, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
Apart from The Raja Saab, Prabhas is also busy with other big projects such as Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Fauji with Hanu Raghavapudi, and Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 directed by Nag Ashwin. Fans are eagerly waiting for The Raja Saab, which promises to blend romance, humour, and horror in true Prabhas style.
