Prabhas Locked April, But Its Impossible?
It is being reported that April 3, 2026 is going to be the possible release date for this Prabhas and Hanu film.
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 Aug 2025 7:54 PM ISTIt is an established fact that Prabhas is one of the biggest superstars in Indian cinema and the kind of box office enigma that depends on him is beyond ordinary. The latest discussion is about the upcoming film of Prabhas, which is being directed by Hanu Raghavapudi.
This project has been titled Fauji and it is currently in the production stage. It is reported that the leading production house in Telugu cinema Mythri Movie Makers are investing heavily in this project, and this happens to be one of the costliest attempts in Indian cinema.
On that note, the latest development are suggesting that this project is swiftly completing the production, and it is possibly preparing for its release on April 3 next year.
It is being reported that April 3, 2026 is going to be the possible release date for this Prabhas and Hanu film.
But there is a lot of uncertainty and deliberation here, considering the kind of working style that we had observed with Hanu in the past. He is a perfectionist kind of a film maker and to have a lot of time being spent on the post production stage.
On top of that, this film has exotic visual effects and CGI inputs, which means that it should be in the production stage for a really long time. So there is no logical way for the film to complete the production process and actually release in the theatres in the early half of 2026.
At the fundamental level, there are also reports that Raja Saab might also be releasing in Sankranti next year. If that is the case, then there is no way that another new film of Prabhas would be released in just a span of three months from then.
So we have to see when this film would actually be releasing in theatres or whether or not, it will be actually be able to release in the first half of the year 2026 itself. As we had reported above, there is a lot of deliberation happening here.
