By: Shanaz B Syed | 13 July 2026 4:35 PM ISTAlipore Central Jail used to exist in Kolkata, and it has now been turned into a museum. And the same building was now erected at Ramoji Film City. Not just that, an army command of Azad Hind Fauz, the army established by Subhash Chandra Bose, another World War II operational command that was located in former Germany, a British-era cantonment area and nearly 10 such buildings are now built. Guess what, Prabhas has shot at all these places.
Yes, Prabhas’ Fauzi is not a simple love story kind, like Sita Ramam, but a fantastic war drama if these reports are to be believed. The film got massive sets worth ₹200 crores constructed in RFC and using Visual Effects, they will be brought to life. Prabhas is playing the role of an Indian soldier in this movie, which takes place during World War II. With all these sets, the film is likely to teleport the audience to the vintage pre-Independent era.
Another report has it that Imanvi plays the role of a Brahmin girl, and a special Devipuram Agraharam set was built for the shooting of her sequences. With just sets are worth two hundred crores, imagine the scale at which Fauzi is being built. That’s what Naga Vamsi said recently, as Mythri Ravi has shown him some rushes of Fauzi, and the former got awestruck.
Though a date is not set yet for Fauzi’s release, it’s being reported that the movie might surprise the audience in the month of December this year.
